Made from solid oak, maple, and walnut wood. A classic shape with a convenient "eared" handle. The edges of the board have been finished with a subtle bevel. It can be used for serving snacks, cutting, or as a larger trivet 🙂

Technical Matters:
The wood is impregnated with unrefined hazelnut oil. Additionally, the surface has been polished with natural beeswax.
The elements are bonded using TiteBond III glue – waterproof and certified for direct food contact, meeting the requirements of DIN EN 204 standards and FDA 21 CFR 175.105.

A few words about mixed hardwoods

Each piece is constructed from at least two glued-together pieces of hardwood. This allows for the use of different wood species in a single project, influencing both its unique design and durability. Just like in edge-glued boards, we use one of the most popular adhesives on the market, Titebond III, for production. This glue meets FDA 21 CFR 175.105 and DIN EN 204 standards, is waterproof, and approved for direct contact with food. Interestingly, the bond between wooden elements is often stronger than the wood itself.

If you've seen our pizza boards or "sporty" editions of kitchen boards, you know that edge-glued boards are aesthetic and have an interesting design! Using different wood species allows for arranging both classic blocks and sophisticated patterns inspired by well-known motifs.
